Robyn Ryan

Marketing

Robyn has more than 20 years of experience in various aspects of marketing both on the client and agency sides of the industry. She is currently the Marketing Programs Leader at Player Performance Group in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Robyn began her career as an Account Executive specializing in database marketing with The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia. In her time with Martin, she worked with a variety of clients including Barnett Banks of Florida, Bank One and Mercedes Benz of North America. Following a move to Washington, DC, Robyn joined Malchow, Adams and Hussey where she served as Vice President for Fundraising and directed the fundraising programs for Defenders of Wildlife, Human Rights Campaign and the Clinton/Gore ’96 re-election campaign.

Robyn joined CareerBuilder.com, an online job search service as the Direct Marketing Manager. In this role, Robyn utilized direct marketing and online marketing to generate leads for the 150+ nationwide sales force. She also was responsible for generating consumer traffic to the CareerBuilder.com website and the websites of the 40 print newspapers that were part of the CareerBuilder network.

Robyn moved to the casino industry as Database/Direct Mail and Advertising/PR Manager with Harrah’s Metropolis Casino in Metropolis, Illinois, owned by Harrah’s Entertainment. She has also served as Corporate Director of Marketing for Cherokee Nation Entertainment where she managed all marketing functions for the seven Cherokee Casino properties. She was the marketing lead on the enterprise-wide conversion from Bally’s CMP to the IGT Advantage player tracking system. Robyn designed and implemented the Cherokee Star Rewards loyalty program. She also was Senior Director of Marketing for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, Robyn led the brand transition from Cherokee Casino Resort to Hard Rock Casino Hotel while also managing all marketing aspects of a $150 million expansion project and the day-to-day marketing operations of a casino.

Prior to joining Player Performance Group, Robyn was Vice President of Marketing for Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She led overall strategic direction to meet revenue goals for a casino resort with 2,300 slot machines, 91 table games, a harness racetrack, hotel, convention center and spa, 18 bars and restaurants, and several retail shops.

Robyn is a graduate of Hollins University with a BA in Economics.
